Response to Intervention

The purpose of Live Oak School District's Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI2) program is to regularly assess and monitor student academic progress, use that information to address every student's diverse academic needs in a timely manner, and ensure the academic progress of ALL students by utilizing appropriate and current best practices.  The RTI2 program is a collaborative effort, made more successful by the communication and coordinated efforts of all of our school community's partners:  parents/guardians, administration, staff, students, and community.  Through this collaboration, we bolster the understanding of our diverse population and we work to clarify barriers and challenges that may impede our students' academic progress and systemically address them so that all students have an equal opportunity for success.
