The Maintenance, Operations & Transportation Department maintains all facilities, oversees safety and grounds and oversees the transportation services provided to students. The MOT Department is involved with planning, building new facilities as well as maintaining, operating and modernizing existing facilities. The Maintenance, Operations & Facilities Department also manages facilities use and developer fees for the District. Oversight of all buildings/construction, building modernizations and all contracted repairs and improvements. 

 

Our department is responsible for the following maintenance, grounds and transportation tasks:

  • Safety
  • Maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment
  • Graffiti removal
  • Deferred maintenance administration
  • Asbestos and other hazardous material compliance
  • Work order administration
  • Maintenance of district-owned vehicles
  • Maintenance of district-owned bus fleet 
  • Transportation of students
